Something NormalMy parents were meeting with the local church when I was born, and my parents and I have always loved the Lord. The local church is not something religious, nor outward, but something that satisfies my being. I have made it an important part of my life. When I went to college (Academy of Art in San Francisco), the brothers and sisters in the church there helped me to live a proper human life. Even my peers were impressed, often commenting that I was different in a special way. I told them that I like to live a normal Christian life. The local churches helped me in many ways, such as my knowledge of the Bible and truth, my daily walk with the Lord, proper fellowship with other believers, and a normal and proper relationship with people. Again, I must say that I'm thankful that I was born in a family that meets with the local church, and that my parents raised me in the church life. The church is something living of which I am a part. The church is so normal. I want to be here my whole life! All I Got Was Christ When I read a newspaper, I like to get the current events. When I read a novel, I like to be entertained. When I read spiritual books, I like to get Christ. From the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, I am brought to Christ. They are not self-improvement books, family counseling books, nor books on how to raise children, but a ministry of Christ. When I read these books, I get a real supply. I feel the inner response when I read from these two authors. It's not that they stir up my emotions, but my spirit has a response, because every word, every phrase, is centered on Christ and reveals Christ as the goal. I'm glad that I have been able to read the books of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. Because of their faithfulness to convey the Person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ, He is all I want.
